Once a year, in order
It comes round again
An audit is not a surprise. It follows the financial year, and everything about it can be planned before the year closes.
What it covers
- Statutory audit under the Companies Act
- Tax audit under s.44AB of the Income-tax Act
- Internal audit and the reporting that follows
- Audit of LLPs
- The schedules and confirmations the audit depends on
- Reporting to the board and to the members

How it runs
This work arrives once a year.
The year closes and the books are frozen.
We plan the audit and ask for what we need.
Fieldwork happens on your premises or ours.
The signed report goes with your return.
The year closes
Everything an audit needs is decided before the year ends, not after it.
Which schedules the auditor will ask for, which confirmations have to come from outside, and who signs. Answering those in March costs nothing. Answering them in September costs the year.
We agree the plan, the timeline and the list of what we will need before fieldwork starts, so the year closes once rather than several times.
